Boston African American National Historic Site - Explores the history of the 19th century free Black community of Boston consisting of 14 sites, and including history, programs, the Black Heritage Trail, biographies, calendar, and general information.

Hancock Shaker Village - Historic former Shaker community located in Pittsfield.

Historic Deerfield - Thirteen museum houses built between 1730 and 1850, and the Flynt Center of Early New England Life displaying more than 25,000 objects made or used in America between 1650 and 1850, providing information on collections, area descendants, and tours.

Nantucket Historical Association - Features the Whaling Museum, Hadwen House, Oldest House, Old Mill, Old Gaol, Quaker Meetinghouse, and the Hose Cart House, including information on exhibits and collections, history, calendar of events and museum shop.

Old Schwamb Mill - The living industrial museum with a wooden mill built in the XVII century and hosting an oval-frame factory, since 1860. This is the oldest picture frame mill in the country and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Located at Arlington.

Old Sturbridge Village - Recreated early American village features over 40 staffed exhibits, including historic homes, craft shops, mills and farm buildings.

Plimoth Plantation - Features, the 1627 Pilgrim Village, Hobbamock's Homesite, Mayflower II, Crafts Center and the Nye Barn, and contains visitor information, history, news and events, and general information located at Plymouth.

Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site - The location of the first integrated ironworks in North America, 1646-1668, and includes the reconstructed blast furnace, forge, rolling mill, and a restored seventeenth century house.
