Allen County Department of Job and Family Services - The Department administers traditional welfare programs such as Medicaid, Food Stamps, Title XX Social Services, Child Day Care, Fraud Investigation and Overpayment Recovery.

Allen County Dog Control Department - A law enforcement agency enforcing the dog control laws of the Ohio Revised Code.

Allen County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) - A countywide agency in charge of overseeing the planning, response, recovery and mitigation of all major disasters and emergencies that occur in the County.

Allen County Sanitary Engineering Department - Responsible for the enforcement of all rules and regulations established by the Board of County Commissioners for the construction, maintenance, protection and use of sewers and sewer improvements in the county.
